trying to get the hang of watercolours

i don’t know anything about watercolours yet so i  bound a whole bunch of watercolour pages into my sketchbook to practice more

as usual sorry for the bad pic quality

one of these days I will scan and upload my sketchbook pages

but for now, all i have are shitty phone photos

since my camera has no charge and i forgot to keep the charger for it, and our scanners are packed up

anyway a page from my sketchbook from class today please enjoy my squidwards and goatdragons

I forgot to put up a picture for yesterday, so here are the two sketchbook pages I’ve been mussing with for the past three days.

Forgive the low quality photos: I’m in the middle of a move and the scanner is packed up, so until probably August or December I’ll only have my camera to get traditional stuff online…and I do a shit tonne of traditional now soooo

two more sketchbook things

discovered the joys of acrylic “watercolor”

these are actually from last week

i skipped scanning a lot of pages

sketchbook scans, from october-early november

features some old characters i’m trying to redesign and a lot of me just fuckin around

some world building as well

Sketchbook scans! Volume 26 of my sketchbook series is Cinemaphilia…the term is actually cinephilia but I only found that out after I wrote down the title.

My sketchbooks double as journals so I usually write down about what I do, or list movies I’ve watched, or just plain write.

Also, I had no idea how difficult it would be to achieve a skin tone with brown and orange markers. I am soooo sorry, Sybil. 8w8

I finished my sketchbook two days ago, so I took photos of the prettier pages. Can’t scan it or else things will fall out or stick. It can’t fit, anyway.
